My plane should be back flying after her annual inspection sometime later this week. I'm based outside of Houston, and could easily take a leg from, say, Monroe LA back to Houston or Houston to Austin. With some notice, possibly: Memphis back to Houston, Houston to San Angelo, Texarkana to San Angelo.

Cheers,
Wade

Wade,
Jim Carney, here. After this next batch of weather goes through, I should be able to fly over to Jackson and bring the Beagle to you somewhere down there. Maybe, like we did the German Shepherd.

that would be great if you both could help me out. I just started rescuing dogs a couple of months ago so this is all new to me and this is the first time using Pilots N Paws. I appreciate all that you do for them and helping them get to their forever homes. It could not be possible without you guys. thank you. My number is 731-267-5535. Please call me and let me know what I need to do.

Jim and Carrie,

Let me get back to both of you Sunday, when I know more about the status of 20223.

Carrie: You're doing just fine. Missions of this length often involve multiple pilots and some time to coordinate.

Jim: It'd be nice to see you again.

How should we go about flying the Beagle?

Jim,

Spent the day at the hangar with the mechanic. We had an A/D to deal with and had to replace the prop control cable and the Fuel Scan transducer. I also have him installing a new rudder combo nav light/strobe, and running the wiring for the new HID-lighted wingtips I'm still waiting after eight months for field approval to install. Late in the week or the weekend look to be good for me. How does that work for you? Could you make Monroe. LA? I could pick up the beagle and get it to San Angelo.

Best,
Wade

Wade, I will be leaving to go out of town Saturday morning and will be gone for a week. If you can't make it by Friday, Please let me know by Wednesday and I will make arrangements for someone to take Jake and meet Jim at the airport. I will start asking around now just in case. I am sure I can find someone to do that for me. Thanks for letting us know tonight. I was wondering, lol. Sorry to hear you had to have so much done to your plane :( but glad it's going to be in safe working condition.

thanks,
Carrie

Folks,

At this point, it's looking like Thursday may be a possibility for me, Friday even more of a likelihood. I'll know more tomorrow a.m. (my mechanic is going to work late again tonight).

Jim: Could you make Yazoo City MS or Vicksburg MS either of those days? How early could you make your ETA?

I need to make it home at a decent hour this next week (recent development and long story).

Here's what I was thinking: Flying from LVJ to make the pickup mid-day and returning to LVJ.

Wayne: Could you fly into LVJ and make a mid-late afternoon pickup?

If not: I could board the beagle overnight (I've done this before). Wayne could either make the pickup early the next day, or I could fly the pooch to Boerne and Wayne could take the Boerne-San Angelo leg.

I'll plan to call Carrie tomorrow when I know more about the status of 223.

Best,
Wade
