Additional Info/situation: Our special rescue dog is 1500 miles from her home of 7 years. Please help us rescue her again. September 29 -October 12 were the worst two weeks of our lives. Our son did not show up from work and our family dog was also missing. For two agonizing weeks we did not know where they were, not a word or phone ping. The sheriffs issued a missing person report. On his 27th birthday he showed up in Illinois, he had travel over 3000 miles wandering the country, lost in his mind and far away from his home in Missoula, MT where he left. Our son has been hospitalized and is healing. He is realizing he cant keep the dog and needs to stay where he is at for now. Help us bring our dog home for Thanksgiving. It is hard enough having our son so far from home, but our dog too. My sister in Winfield, IL has graciously been watching her but she needs her gone by Nov. 15th. Our daughter from the west coast is coming for Thanksgiving and hasnt seen our family dog for almost a year. Our hearts our broken over almost losing a son and our precious dog. Her name is Missy. She is all love. Very laid back. She is apx. 90lbs; part lab and boxer we believe. We dont know her exact age , as she came to us from a foster home after being rescued . She has no aggression in her. She sniffs other dogs but then is aloof around them. She is current on her rabbis shot. She loves human contact and attention. Is anyone going form the Chicago area to Missoula MT before Thanksgiving? Please help reunite this family.

If transport can be obtained westward as far as Helena, Montana I can, weather permitting, operate the leg west from Missoula. Remain aware that during this season weather is critical. I can operate in all except icing conditions and thunderstorms. PAX must be appropriately prepared for air travel and in a suitable carrier.

So thankful to a good Samaritan returning to Missoula on 90 who drove Missy all the way home!
