Additional Info/situation: I rescued Joshua, who I've named Lucky, about a month ago from a high kill shelter in Irving , Texas. There were two dozen that were going to be put to sleep for space. The morning of, two had not been rescued or adopted, while I was on hold on the phone with the shelter for 30 minutes, one got rescued. When someone finally answered the phone, I inquired about the last one, Joshua. She said it was to late. As I started to crumble, I asked, what do you mean too late? To rescue, adopt or had he been put to sleep? She said he was a few minutes away from being euthanized and nothing could be done. I offered money or pleaded for more time and she denied all pleas. So, when I hung up, I got online and I begged and pleaded to anyone who could do anything to save Joshua! All of the sudden, I started communicating with a few different people in different states and asked if anyone could help me save him. Before I knew it people who I didnt even know rallied and wanted to contribute money to help me rescue him! People who I never knew, were willing to open their hearts and wallets for someone they never met! We all had one thing in common though...OUR LOVE FOR ALL ANIMALS!! I was so desperate because I had an extremely important doctor appt. and I had to leave because I had been waiting for 3 months for this appt. I thought for sure when I returned...I would get the horrible news. As soon as I walked into the door, I got online and had learned that people had pulled together on Joshua's (and mine) behalf! They posted a pix of his freedom ride to the foster home! I was so happy, I cried for happiness, instead of sadness. So, I called and emailed 24 different organizations to see if anyone could help with transport. I've only received 5 responses, all which are very expensive. my sister referred me to you and I am desperately pleading again for help from strangers? I think it is amazing that you really put your time and heart into caring for those who are horribly ignored, abused or neglected. I want to open my own animal sanctuary someday! If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I need to bring Joshua (Lucky) home to San Diego, so that there will be room for other dogs that need fostering. I hope someone can help! Thank you for your time and Peace & <3

Hello:
I wanted to touch base with you because I have a transport posted that is the reverse of yours. I am looking at moving a dog from the San Diego, CA. to the Arlington/ Ft Worth area of Texas.
My transport needs to take place around the 11 of December as the adopter is out of the country until then.
I have a pilot that has offered the first leg-from SD to Phoenix, AZ. He is suggesting December 13.
Perhaps we can help one another?
Just wanted to let you know of the possibility that the pilots could have a 'back haul' and get both of our dogs transported.
Wishing BOTH of us luck! Jacolyn Dadles http://www.dandierescueleague.com EMAIL: [email protected]

Hi Jacolyn, Yes that would be great, but, I have to have Lucky out of the foster home before then to make room for other rescues. I talked to someone today that gave me some information to help transport better. What kind of dog do you have? Mine is a shepherd mix and she said they have a white shepherd dog rescue that goes from Pheonix to San Diego. I am also emailing a trucker that was going from east coast to Los Angeles. You never know how long it will take to get everything planned accordingly, so, I will keep in touch with you, if I can help. Can your dog come out sooner? Good luck as well!! Hello Jodi:
My dog cannot go sooner. She is a Dandie Dinmont Terrier, so under 30#.
Her adoptive owner is out of the country until early December so the 13 is now my target date.
Best of Luck to You! Jacolyn
