Hello, this is Linda. God Bless you all and Merry Christmas. I will get the phone number of the person who is temporarily fostering her, and get it to you , so that you can get together on arrangements. I know there is a system coming in, we are to have rain this weekend, and on tues ,turning to snow mix, or snow.I want to thank you for your response. I have been really worrying about how to get her from San Antonio to me. Thank you also for serving. I was in from 67-69 and then reserves from 70-74. I got injured when in-country, when our jeep on a return from patrol was mortared. I was one of the lucky one's, I just fracture my knee, and had some brusies and a couple of broken ribs, the driver and the ,front passgener werent as lucky, they both were killed, the guy next to me,lost his arm and sight in one eye. I guess my angels were with me that day, because if I had landed 3 feet closer and in the rice paddie, I wouldnt be here today, you know what they had hdden in those rice paddie's, i still shutter today when i think about it,but like I said I had my agels(my grandma's) with me, for I felt like someone caught me and gently as possible laid me down short of that rice paddie. An, thats why, I what to be Sweetie's forever home, she's had it rough, and I want to be her angel and give her the loving home she deserves. Here is my cellph # 765-242-5899. Again thank You God Bless, and Merry Christmas to you. Linda pearce

Hello Linda, routes are always flexible it depends on who is willing to transport and get on board. I been communicating with John out of Horseshoe Bend, AR.; but until we can get the dog up out of San Antonio where stuck in the mud, so to speak; John and I cannot go that far. The total distance on this in a direct VFR GPS route to you is 840 nautical miles according to Skyvector. com, this will require multiple exchanges between pilots; active participating pilots i should say. Until we can get pilots to do what they volunteered to do, we are stuck i'm sorry to say. I wish you all the best with this endeavor.. Harold. :plane:
