Additional Info/situation: Sweetie Pie was turned into a high kill shelter extremely pregnant /about to deliver... Sadly the shelter spay /aborted her pups immediately upon her arrival (before she was even made available to rescue) & then proceeded to put her on the Extra Urgent /PTS List. Thankfully We were able to get her out on her last day,.no easy feat at that shelter.. However upon pulling her it became apparent that Sweetie was extremely ill & malnourished as well as inordinately depressed ( i.e. in no condition to travel) hence we found a local foster for her while she regained her health (& who incidentally is now going away)....After 2 months, Sweetie Pie is doing much better & has now recovered enough to continue her journey to our rescue in Bradenton...Thank You!!
