Good morning everyone
I have a HUGE favor to ask each of you. Katherine Shepperly, a woman from New Vernon, NJ, has adopted an 8 wk old, Parsons JRT puppy from my rescue. Katherine was going to fly commercially to NC to pick up the puppy tomorrow. Because of the flight schedules, this pup would spend the entire day in the airport waiting for connections. Katherine was willing to do it but I told her about Pilots and Paws. Would you be willing to take a 2nd, albeit, TINY little puppy who weighs 3 lbs with you as a 2nd passenger? If you need a crate, I can supply one. Honestly, this pup is so little, he could fit inside your jacket pocket and sleep all the way. Katherine Shepperly is willing to drive to the airport that is along the route to make it easiest for Marc as he is the pilot that would have to land twice, once somewhere in NJ and again in CT when Marc lands to meet Charlie. Hi Robin,

It's fine with me. I'm flying leg 2 from Richmond into New Jersey. I think this pup would only need to fly the first two legs.

Would Katherine be willing to drive down to Millville, NJ? That's currently planned as our transfer point, where I meet up with Mark.

If Mark agrees we could move the transfer point north, say central Jersey or eastern PA. That would give Katherine a much shorter drive.

Mark, you extended your leg when we met last week: I'd be happy to extend mine this week if it would work better for all involved.

Hi Dave,

Thanks much for the offer. If you can extend your leg to KVAY, It would be easy for me to fly the puppy to 4N1Greenwood Lake Airport which is located within a few miles of Vernon, New Jersey. From there I proceed to my final destination of KOXC.

Will that work for everyone?

Works fine for me Mark, just send me your new tentative ETA.
I called Key Air and being non-commercial there are no fee's of any kind for me, so if you don't mind, I'll meet you in their lobby and not be in the cold.
