I could probably help out on the final leg up to AUG or Lewiston Auburn, but not until Dec. 31st.

Hi,
I might be able to do the leg from NC (KJNX, Johnston County) to VA (KHEF or KXSA), but I would be available to fly December 27 and 28. I just have to check something with my schedule before I can totally commit. I'll let you know asap.

Hi Joy:

You can put me down for the NC -> VA leg if Sue is not able to make the flight ... unless Sue, you want to take a northern leg. I cannot push as far north as KHEF but I'm sure we can find a spot that makes sense depending on whether you continue north to the west or east side of DC.

Wes and Rick, are you available the 27th or 28th? I am still checking my schedule, but those are the only dates I can fly. This might not work for Joy, anyway, as she was asking for the weekend of the 29th. One more bad thing regarding the 27/28th is that the weather is supposed to get nasty (freezing rain). I will bow out if you guys can cover this on the 29th/30th. Let me know. : )
Thanks,
Sue

I should be able to help out between the 27th and the 30th. I am based in CT. The long range forecast isn't looking good for Thursday but the weatherman has been known to be wrong one or twice. I can fly on what will probably be leg 3 Maryland or vicinity back to CT or Leg 4 up to AUG from CT. No problem with 6 dogs+. Any photos of the dogs you can send? I always have people here looking to adopt.

Hi, everyone --- sorry it's taken me a little time to get back to you, but the computer hasn't been cooperating. My problem with Thursday or Friday is getting health certificates (vets' appointments) and getting all of the dogs together. Let me work on it today (Monday, Dec. 24th) and confirm with everyone tomorrow, if that's okay. I think we'll need to do 2 separate missions --- we have 6 lab pups (3 5-month olds and 3 babies) going up to Lisa in New Hampshire, and 8 babies going to Heidi in Maine ...... Glad to hear that Rick and Wes and Sue are available for the SOuthern legs - that's my problem. I have 2 additional pilots (Dave and Luke) available to help out with Northern legs. I really hope we can get these guys up there! I will check back with everyone tomorrow. Have a wonderful Christmas and THANK YOU for responding! Pictures will be sent in private emails.... in the meantime, the website has available dogs and puppies --- www.rufcreekranch.com

Hi, Sue, Rick, Wes, Ed and Johnny -

I'd like to break this out into 2 separate missions. If I can do the 8 puppies for Heidi in Maine on Friday, that would work, leaving the 3 5-month olds and 3 babies for Lisa on the weekend.

Can we do something like this? Sue to VA, Wes to NJ, Ed to CT and Johnny to ME? I believe the Maine airport is NOrridgewock, just outside of Augusta -- more pilot friendly...

Rick, can we work on a separate flight for LIsa on the weekend? I have Luke Hayden (NJ) and Dave Kenny (PA?) also ready to go.

Please email me at [email protected], since my computer is acting up and I can access emails on my phone, if need be. Thanks.

Ed, I'll send you pictures of everyone in a private email.

Joy
