I can help transporting Bennie from MD / PA to NY. Frederick, MD is a good meet point for me and if someone could meet me at Poughkeepsie to take him north, that might work out. Long range wx does not look promising for this weekend.

Hi Dean,
Thank you so much!! We are very flexible in the transport. I picked Saturday as I thought weekends may be better for help. I am still new to posting on PNP and have a heck of a time trying to figure out the flight plans or a route. I am very open to suggestions and anything that will teach me how to be more efficient at arranging transports through PNP.

Thank you so much

Steph

Hi Dean,
I can fly the final leg from KPOU to Augusta, ME. We'll have to check the WX, but if it's good, I can go any day this week, the weekend is tough for me.

Hi Steph,
I see that Charlie is willing to cover the last leg for Bennie. This mission looks like a three or four leg operation. What we're looking for now is a pilot to fly from NC to Virginia, then one from VA to MD. Perhaps we can find one pilot who is willing to fly from NC to MD. The legs would look like this: NC to VA, then VA to MD, then I will cover MD to NY and Charlie will meet me and take Bennie to Maine. Once we have the necessary pilots, we'll communicate among ourselves to arrange departure and arrival times.

You'll need to make sure Bennie has the appropriate documentation to travel across state lines. This would be a report from a vet that he's received his immunizations and is disease free. Vets will know what you need. We'll also need the complete names and contact information of the sending and receiving parties. If the sending party is a shelter, their non for profit taxpayer ID woud be needed as well.

I might be able to do leg 1 later this week. I have my flight review tomorrow.
KRUQ looks like the closest to Rockwell. Making the legs almost equal,
RUQ-OKV (Winchester VA) is 238
OKV- POU is 245
POU- AUG is 241

My trip home would be 264.
I'll keep this thread posted if I could do it but if someone ellse wants to do leg one.. have at it.

BILL

Hello Everyone,

Thanks so much for your help tonight Dean. It means a lot to me for you to take the time to help me. I am hoping this comes together. I would love for it to be an exact science but I understand it is not due to many factors. I would like to leave it open to options at the pilot's discretion. I have Saturday as the day be we are open to other options as well.

Also Bennie is UTD on all of his shots, he has been neutered, and he does have an interstate health certificate. He is ready to fly :).

I will post the info on the shelter he came from as soon as I receive it.

Thank you everyone for helping Bennie and thank you for all you do to help our furry friends

Steph
