I've looked at this request a few times but I don't have enough crate room in an Archer airplane to accommodate both dogs at one time. Lets see if anyone else responds that could do the legs from VA up to final destination and we can try to figure something out..

Hi Brandon,

We are okay if we can even get one of these dogs up now. If no one else responds would you be available to take 1 of them?

Either way thanks so much for the reply!

Do you have a pilot for first leg, nc to va? I might be able to help with northern leg. I fly a saratoga and could accommodate both dogs. When are you trying to do this? I am probably available on Saturday to do virginia to new jersey. Where are the receiving parties located? Teterboro is not on my list of favorite airports, but there are many other airports in north jersey that might be suitable. Please provide more details

Terry, if we could find another pilot/plane or another experienced PNP pilot to be an un-crated dog wrangler with me, we could get NC to VA done... I'm good on weight and balance for these two to ride in the back seats, its just the crate I have would make for 2 very cramped dogs..

Hi Brandon,
Do you know if these dogs have travelled together, spent time together? I have transported many dogs that have just been tethered in the back seats, or one crated and one tethered and one crated if that is an option. I will also forward this to a Pnp pilot I have done many transports with who might? be willing to ride shotgun. He is based outside of Raleigh-Durham , at 8nc8. Let's see where that can go.
You can feel free to call me on my cell to discuss further.
Terry

Hi Terry and Brandon,

Thanks your responses!

We are flexible with the date, so whenever is good for the two of you we can make work.

See Spot Rescued (the receiving party) is located in Jersey City, NJ. We are also pretty flexible with which airport. We've done pick ups at Linden previously, but let us know what is best for you.

Both of these dogs get along with other dogs, so they should be fine tethered together in the back. I am 99% sure they are being fostered together, but I wanted to confirm this. Brandon, perhaps you could even crate one and tether the other?

Thank you so much for your help and hoping we can make this all work out! Let me know if I can do more to help/coordinate. My cell is 732.406.4075.

Thanks!

Michelle

Hi,

Yes both Derek Jeter and Spike are being fostered together, so they do know each other. Just so you know Derek is the submissive one and Spike is the more dominant one.

Terry, how far south can you go in VA? Looks like we might be able to do Spike in crate and Derek tethered. I need to get some measurements to confirm. My flight would be leaving GSO to KFAY for pickup, then KFAY to KRIC (assuming Richmond might be good) and back to GSO.
