Additional Info/situation: This transport will likely require 3-4 legs/pilots. Transfer points could be Blacksburg, VA, Roanoke, VA, Carlisle, PA, Frederick, MD, Martinsburg, WV, Reading, PA, Allentown, PA or any other points that work for the pilots. We could also start in Morristown, TN instead of Knoxville if that works better for the 1st pilot. The puppies are ready to travel now. Would like to move them on Sat. Mar. 9 or Sun. Mar. 10. Friday, Mar. 8 would be good too because the long term weather forecast looks very nice for that day.

Greetings!

I could likely fly the last leg if the puppies are brought to Pittstown, NJ (N40) I could take them to Albany, NY. At this point I’m free all three of the aforementioned days. Please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] or 908-310-3293.

Thanks!
Matt

Thank you, Paul. If Saturday, I'll put you in for Knoxville to Blacksburg. Let me know if other days would work too when you know. Right now Friday is best for weather, then Sunday, then Saturday. The trouble with weather on Saturday is that it's showing as cloudy the whole way, so would need IFR pilots/planes if Saturday.

Just updated the subject. There are 5 puppies:

1. McNelley, female, Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, 14 weeks old, 15 lbs.
2. McLaney, female, Hound mix, 12 weeks old, 10 lbs.
3. McRae, male, Boxer mix, 12 weeks old, 12 lbs.
4. Bently, female, Australian shepherd mix, 12 weeks old, 15 lbs.
5. McGrath, male, Australian shepherd mix, 12 weeks old, 15 lbs.

I said 6 by mistake on the initial post.

Matt,

Would you be able to go South to, say, FDK and bring the dogs back to N40? If so, I could meet you at N40 and take them the rest of the way to Albany. This way we would only need one more pilot from BCB to FDK.

Lorene, I am not sure how much experience with aviation weather you have, but forecast of "cloudy" could mean anything from harmless high overcast to low IFR. At this point it is way too early to tell if clouds are going to be an issue.

Yuri,

I have NO experience with aviation so for the most part I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to flying (LOL)! A pilot told me that if there are clouds the pilots need to be IFR. In any case, I am learning as I can from the pilots. I do, however, know that it is way too early to know about the weather. :-)

This will really help if Matt can do Frederick to N40 and then you pick up from there. Can you fly on Fri, Sat, or Sun?

Thanks!
