Hi, Ron and Paul. If Paul can come to Charleston and fly the dogs to Winchester and then Ron take them on to Blue Bell that is perfect. Please let me know what time the dogs should be at Yeager Airport in Charleston. Should this not work out we can get the dogs to Clarksburg either day. Thanks so much for what you do!

After speaking with Ron, I'll depart Winchester about 0630 for an arrival at Charleston at 0800. Take off at 0830 for an arrival back at Winchester at 1000. Tail number N9372Q, BE-33, and I'll file IFR so you can internet track me on Flight Aware. - Paul Cox [email protected], cell 973-219-3994.

Jennifer, could you email Ron and I the contact cell phone numbers of people on both ends of the transport (in case something of an immediate nature comes up)? Thanks! - Paul

Hi all,

Sorry to respond late - I actually wrote a post yesterday on my cellphone, but evidently it didn't take. I'll be flying an Sr22 N828C and also will file IFR so I can be tracked on flightaware. I'm planning to be at Winchester (KOKV) at 10 am to meet up with Paul. Figure approx 30 min time on the ground refueling and taking the dogs for a walk, and hopefully take off at 10:30 am for an approximate arrival time at blue bell, pa (wings field - KLOM) at approximately 11:30 am or slightly earlier. As Paul stated, it'd be great if I can get the contact numbers for the folks coming to wings field to pick up the dogs so that I can coordinate with them directly, and Jennifer if you could include the crates and leashes with the dogs (as you mentioned on a previous post), that'd be great. Just let me know if you'd like me to ship them back to you or keep them for now for use on future transports. Looking forward to tomorrow. Paul, see you at Winchester at approx 10 am. Obviously if there are any changes due to weather, mechanical, etc. lets update each other as soon as possible, preferably by phone.

Thanks

Ron

Thanks, Ron and Paul! I am the contact in Charleston (304-421-3780); the contact on the other end is Dayna Villa (610-592-4832). We will have crates, collars and leashes for all the dogs. We won't require getting the crates returned; please keep them to use on future flights. We appreciate your generous donaton in making these flights for us! See you tomorrow - fingers crossed for good flying weather!

Ron and Paul, on behalf of Dog Bless, the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association and the dogs we try to save everyday, we thank you for helping us move Gretchen, Ben, Cole and Pippi to the next step of finding the great life they deserve. I learn from every transport and know now to ask the pilot(s) what type of crate is needed. We have used pilots just a hand full of times; some of them used the collapsable crates. Ron explained that if they have to be stacked, the hard ones are better. We will know to ask in the future. Thanks again for the time and expense you put forth in helping rescues dogs and cats!
