Toni, thanks for responding! We're frantically trying to put puzzle pieces together & just as it seems we've got it, the middle pieces go missing. Will keep you posted. Thanks so much!

To Murphy, Wade & Toni ~ we're trying really hard to move Twilight & Isabelle (GPPR pup @ same location) to Denver this wk. Can all of you help w/the legs you offered?? Thanks in advance for your replies. Wade, you offered Slidell, LA to Dallas; Toni, Gainesville (think I can get someone to drive them from Dallas to you) to Liberal, KS; Murphy, Liberal to Denver. OMG!! If pilots work out getting them to Slidell they'll be home!!!

If we can get 2 pilots lined up Mobile to Slidell this wk can everyone help get Twilight & Isabelle (GPPR pup also from Mobile) to Denver & their new foster homes??
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Friday, 5/3, looks, at this point, to be the first VFR-flying day we're likely to have this week. If I'm flying Houston-Slidell-Dallas-Houston, I'll need to take off from LVJ at 8-9 a.m. It's about 2:15 to ASD. Transports will need to be there as early as 10:30 if I depart at 8 a.m. (or 11:30 if I depart at 9). Figure up to an hour on the ground to load and refuel. Then, it's about 3 hours to Terrell (TRL) outside of Dallas (I'd prefer to land there so I can avoid the hassle of dealing with the D/FW Bravo airspace, or towered field, and TRL has a fuel truck that can refuel me quickly). It would put me into TRL as early as 2:15 (8 a.m. initial start) or around 3:15 (9 a.m. initial start).

Best,
Wade

Saturday, Sunday and Monday also look good and would probably be better for me.

Hi Wade,
I have another pilot who can bring the pups to Lake Charles late morning on Saturday May 4th. Could you meet him and get them to Dallas from there?
Thank you!

Caroline

Caroline,

Lake Charles would be excellent, and would save me a little time and fuel. About what time could he/she arrive? Are we talking Lake Charles Regional?

Is Terrell (TRL) a possibility for the Dallas-area drop off?

Could you let me know how they need to travel? Crated? Tethered? If crated, approximate crate sizes?

Best,
Wade

P.S. Might be easier to proceed by email: [email protected]

Many, MANY thanks to the pilots who flew Twilight & Isabelle from Mobile to Denver over the past few days! I am in awe of each one of you & of your organization as a whole. Wow. W/o your generosity & dedication so many more precious dogs would lose their lives. Hats off to Leonard, Tim, Rich & Blanche for bringing them safely to their rescue! God bless & safe travels.
