Bob, my instrument flight instructor and I had a mission yesterday - Help bring 2 lucky dogs north from Georgia to a foster home in Connecticut. Benny and Mickey were moved from a shelter in Georgia to Fayetteville, NC, where Chris did the first leg of the journey north, and dropped off 9 other. We were meeting Chris at KMIV - Millville Municipal Airport, in southern NJ.

Flight 1 - KHFD to KMIV
Bob & I were going to pick up our clearance in the air, and hopefully get a routing directly over JFK, instead of a big detour north around NYC, so I had filed the flight plan from Chester, KSNC using Victor airways (What's your vector, Victor? Roger, Roger!). ATC changed a few things around, but some quick programming, and we continued from the Madison VOR along V16 directly over JFK (sorry, didn't get the camera out in time to catch the A380 parked on the ramp). We flew the ILS to Runway 10, parked on the ramp, and Chris came to greet us and introduce the pups. The pups needed some grass time, and Chris figured they couldn't get too far dragging a howitzer.
