eidi is a puppymill survivor that her new home just didn't work out. Heidi had alot of fear and lack of confidence issues but she is not a biter or anything like that. She will have a crate to travel in and she is just extremely timid and frightened. We would be willing to transport her anytime after 6/25/09 and if needed the trainer/behaviorist that is working with her now would be willing to drive her as far as Douglas or Casper Wy. Her new family would also be willing to travel as far as Butte Mt to pick her up if transport can be covered as far as there. Ideally though we would like to be able to transport her all the way from Cheyenne to Kalispell. Please contact Terri if you can help at

At this point I must admit I am very discouraged. I have posted three different transport requests since I have joined here an no one even responded to them. I am hoping that someone has some alternative suggestions for transport since this obviously is not working out. I know that I live in an area where volunteers are few and far between which makes it a huge challenge to get this done. But, Heidi needs to be in a solid stable home that knows how to cope with her issues. Every day that she is there is more trauma that she will have to work through until she is a balanced dog again.

Have you tried Wyoming Joan in Sheridan or Tonya of WBCR in Glenrock, near Casper? I've worked with them on transports before and I believe they both have contacts for ground transport.

Looks like I'll be doing a rescue transport from Idaho Falls to Casper on July 5, Sunday. I can take yours from Casper back home to Evanston, WY, for further transport north, or I can deliver to Ogden or Salt Lake that day. Another option that may work out...

At this point I have three options, someone has offered to bring her along with them from Casper to Missoula on the 8th and 9th on a road trip. She has an offer to be flown to Evanston or from there on to Ogden on the 5th, and I can try to arrange transport from that area to up here. Or she can be flown all the way up here on the 3rd if I can get her to Jackson by 11:00 am on that day. If anyone can help out with any of these preferable getting her to Jackson on the 3rd it would be greatly appreciated.
