Kay Cross can do Logan to Charlottesville or Charlottesville to Chesapeake. Can anyone do the other leg?
Thanks, Suzy

When is Kay Cross available to do the transport? Depending on weather, I may be able to do the flight at various times over the next few days, including during the week. If its easier, call me at 804 356-3232 to coordinate things.

Hi Don,
Thank you! Kay said she could fly next weekend. So, if you are available during the week, perhaps someone else could do Kay's leg during the week? We would love to get Bindy out of the shelter sooner rather than later.
Best, Suzy

Keep me posted on what's up. Next weekend is questionable. I have company coming into town. If he's interested in making the run with me (and the weather is good) I can do it. Otherwise, during the week is possible but I need a bit of time to arrange my work schedule, which is usually flexible.

Will do, Don. I sent some emails to pilots in western VA and the only one listed in southern WV. I fthere are no takers, perhaps you can talk your friend into flying next weekend.

Don,
I haven't heard from anyone. Will need to proceed with plans for the weekend. Please let me know if you can help for sure or if I need to try to find someone else for the second leg.
Thanks,
Suzy

Hi Suzy,

I am checking with my company to see if they are okay with flying right seat on the trip. I will let you know. Also, KSHD is easy to get in and out of and is a few miles closer for the first leg pilot. I can do KCHO but prefer KSHD.

I just heard back from my arriving company. I can do the flight pretty much anytime Saturday morning. I would have to pick the dog up not later than noon on Saturday. This would be dependent on weather of course. The plane and I are both VFR (fair weather). It's too far ahead for me to put any faith in weather predictions that far in advance but I'm hopeful it'll work. Don
