Additional Info/situation:

Animal Control in Mt Pleasant has decided that Jasper has been there too long. He needs to get out by the middle of next week or risk being put down. If they know we have a transport plan, it will buy him a few more days, so we could stretch it to a week from this weekend.

Jasper is a very sweet hound who loves children, and will be a great family dog. We just need to get him past this rough spot and into a rescue group that can find him a new family to love. Here's his photo:

I know we have some weather coming through this weekend that will make flying Jasper difficult. It would be ideal if we could beat the weather. Otherwise I suspect we're looking at Tuesday or later. Jasper is going to a foster home in the Georgetown area, and will likely be transferred to our main facility in San Antonio once he's been neutered and evaluated.

Thank you for all you do for the homeless animals.

Hi Jerry,
Per our telephone conversation, I will commit to Jasper's transport next weekend, 8 June. Most likely Saturday, weather permitting.

This is going critical. We have transport all set up for next Saturday, but now the shelter is saying they need the space and won't wait. Jasper will be put down if I don't get him out. I suspect they'll give me to Wednesday, but longer than that is unlikely. Can anyone help during the week?

Looks like we're back on track. Someone has stepped up to cover the cost of boarding, so Jasper will be boarded until Saturday's flight to safety.

This transport was completed on Saturday. Many thanks to Jack Fulford for bringing Jasper to his new foster home. Jasper is a skinny but happy boy.
