Additional Info/situation: Freeya, is a 50 lb beautiful, sweet, Collie Mix. She was picked up by animal control as a stray and gave birth in the Animal Control Truck in route to the shelter. She was kept at the shelter for 8 weeks with her one puppy-- until her puppy was adopted. Animal Control immediately scheduled Freya to be euthanized the next day. In the eleventh hour, WOOFFUN Rescue in NH literally saved her life and committed to her rescue! We set up temporary foster for her locally, but her story was not over yet....she tested positive for heartworms. She has received HW treatment and now a month later is HW negative and ready for transport. Freya has been in foster care with us for 3 months and is now READY to GO! She is a super sweet dog that escaped a near death in the shelter. We hate to see her go, we all are in love with her-- But, she is ready and deserving of finding a loving forever home. Lady, is a super sweet lab mix that is in foster care with a different local rescue, that also needs transport to WOOFFUN, so we are including her in our transport request. Please help us Get Freya and Lady to their rescue! Thanks for your consideration. We are flexible and will do whatever necessary to make dates and times work. Thanks!

If the dogs can get to CT, we could fly them to New Hampshire after the holiday weekend.

We would also be available on weekdays.

Best,

If we can get them as far north as the Baltimore area I can do a leg from there back up to CT, preferably DXR or OXC.

Great and thanks for both offers! So, if we can get a leg into the Baltimore area we will have the rescue complete. Hopefully someone will offer to fill that leg. If necessary, we can ground transport into VA to meet a flight. Thanks again!

Hi Ryan,

I may be able to do KRWI to Baltimore. I am out of Ocean City, MD. I am around this Sat and Sunday. The big issue for the last few weeks is that NC and Va have been covered by waves of thunderstorms and I have had to cancel rescue flights there. Luckily, the rescue people have been able to get ground transport instead.

Yea we've had the same thunderstorm issues up here in NY as well. If you're based in Ocean City I can meet you there to make the swap if that makes it easier for you.

Thanks to everyone! Please let me know when this flight can happen. I noticed that Renee, the last leg pilot, said she was available after this weekend. We are good on our end with any date and time- just let us know! Thanks Again!

Ryan

Ocean City, Md would work best for me. This weekend or next weekend is okay but dependent on t-storms

Hello, I am based out of Tipton (Baltimore) and have plans to fly up to Allentown, PA this weekend. I'd be happy to take a leg from here to northern NJ Friday or Saturday - provided we can work around the convective activity in the area - the sooner the better.
