Re: Redbone coon hound pups
Curious if this trip could start at Lexington (KLEX) and end at Eagle Creek (KEYE) in Indianapolis? May be on option for a Saturday. Happy to consider making this trip. Didn't see a suitable airport at Ravenna. This also assumes VFR wx...
Just happened upon your post as I'm new to PNP.

The closest airport to Ravenna is Lexington Bluegrass Field (LEX)

Re: Redbone coon hound pups
The pups are ready to go so whenever you can do it is great. They are currently at the vet and they will bring them to the airport. Let me know if this saturday will work. You are fantastic. Thanks

Re: Redbone coon hound pups
Jeff and ajames, if you can do the run this Saturday, I can have the dogs to the airport LEX. When would you need them there? I really hope this works for you both as getting them safe is so important. I really don't want these kids to go back to the shelter and what could happen next. Thank you so much for your help.
Re: Redbone coon hound pups
I'd prefer a morning flight, but it's up to Jeff when he can pick them up and get this started
Re: Redbone coon hound pups
Ok. I propose the following:
I will try to leave my home airport Saturday the 24th at 10:30 or 11:00am eastern and fly to KLEX for approximately a 12:00pm arrival at Tac Air. My aircraft is N5658U (white with black and red). After about a 30-60 minute layover to chill and pick up the puppies, I will depart by 1pm for arrival at KEYE by 2:30pm ish Eastern. Not sure the time zone there now. There is just one FBO at Eagle Creek so that will be easy.
Ajames, let me know if 2:30 rendezvous at KEYE works for you.
Not sure also how to handle the paperwork as this is my first "Mission".
Let me know.. We can swap phone numbers for logistics as we get closer. Wx looks good at this point.
