Additional Info/situation:
Sweet Pea is a 5# Chi, who is being rescued by Brazoria Co. Humane from the Sabine Parish A.C. at Many, LA. She is shy and frightened and not doing well at all in the shelter. Shirley Tinnin, director of Brazoria, has agreed to place her in a foster home to get her out of a kennel-type atmosphere.
Sweet Pea was spayed today (Wednesday, 10/09) and is ready for her journey West whenever a pilot can be secured. She, of course, will take a small "cat" crate, which pilot needs to furnish.
NOTE: Had to go get Sweet Pea--met someone by ground in Opelousas--as she needed to get out of the shelter. Pick-up location has now changed from Many, LA, to New Iberia (ARA). Sweet Pea and 5# Yorkie-mix pup were safely transported to Pearland on Sunday, 10/21. Thanks, Julian, and the prospective PnP pilot who came with him.
