Are you a 501c3: pending, in-process
Additional Info/situation: These two dogs were pulled from a kill shelter by Rainbow Farms (rescue). The (Coonhound) has an adopter in Saylorsburg, PA. If it is easier, Blue can be transported to Caldwell, NJ (KCDW). Blue is scared of dogs that are larger than him. He shakes when he is scared. He will need to be crated as Duke is larger than him. Duke, the pit mix was found severly emanciated and has pressure sores on his body and a tumor on his tail. The sores do not seem to bother him. He is fine being picked up. It is prefered that Duke is tethered versus crated. He travels fine in a car tethered or in a plastic crate. He does not do well in a metal/wire crate. Duke needs to get to Bangor, ME on Sat or Sunday so he can catch his transport to Nova Scotia, Canada. A great rescue has pulled him and will provide full medical care. He is roughly 30 lbs underweight. Please help me get Blue to his forever home and Duke to get to his wonderful rescue and receive the vetting he so deserves. Thank you!

Waiting to hear on another flight, but if free I could do the last half of a split last leg. I can't do the whole 337 n.m., but would be delighted to share that leg. Available Saturday or Sunday.

Next Saturday the 10th, I will be going from palmyra PA ( Reigle field, 58N, just east of Harrisburg/Hershey) to Old Town, ME which is right next to Bangor. So I would be happy to do the whole last leg, if the pups could meet us at Reigle Saturday morning? We will be leaving early Saturday morning, so if they could get to us Friday evening I would be happy to watch them for the night and take them in the morning. Could someone get them from Blacksburg to us on Friday evening? Perhaps someone could drive down from sailorsburg to get the Coonhound, which would help us avoid a stop. Or if they follow the plan in the post, we would be able to stop in Caldwell on the way (would be around 8:30 Saturday morning) to pick up the pit mix and take to Bangor. My plans are pretty tight, and I must be going up first thing Saturday morning. Please let me know if I can be of help
-Marc

Hi Marc,
I really appreciate the offer, but I am not sure that this will work as the 2 dogs are coming from Campbellsville, KY. At this point, the pilot doing leg 2 does not have availability for Friday. He has availaility on Saturday and Sunday. Thank you!

Bedford to Bangor would be wonderful! Thank you! Do you have availability both on Saturday and Sunday? Could you possibly send me contact information to my email at [email protected]. As I live not too far from Bedford, this may be the first flight I actually get to meet one of the pilots and the dogs as well as see the dogs in the air!

Please let me know even if you can do a portion of a leg or want to suggest to break out the outstanding legs differently. The second dog is picking up a transport to Canada, so this transport is somewhat urgent to fill. THANK YOU! ~Joyce, 978 766-1464, [email protected].

I could probably do the leg from KGED to KCDW.

Margery: do you know yet if you are available for the leg from KCDW to KBED?

Guess we are still looking for the first leg.
