I saw this terrible story and happy Vance is doing so much for her. I am already flying a mission on Saturday (and coordinating another), but willing to fly again on Sunday if others can not.

I would suggest splitting this mission and propose meeting in Cambridge, MD (KCGE) as I am coming from Caldwell, NJ.

I assume the best destination is Philly North East (KPNE)?
Thanks,
Doug

Thank you so much Doug. If we can find another pilot to split the mission that would be great. Or if there's someone that can do the entire flight that would be good too. We really hate to have to send her on a 12+ hr ground transport in her condition. If we can get her to rescue on Sunday it would be so much easier on her. Hoping someone is able to help...will keep paws crossed!

Doug and I are working out the details, but we want to make this happen on Sunday morning. I will be doing the first leg of the flight out of Henderson.

Doug,

If you want to take Sunday off, I can do the second leg. I am based out of Ocean City, Md.

Christopher,
That would be great - thank you! We were talking about MaryBeth picking up at HNZ about 8:15am, and meeting at KXSA about 10am. That would mean delivery ay KPNE about 11:30am, but we have not yet heard from Vance, so all plans are pending their input on logistics. You can email me directly for MB's contact info: [email protected]
Best,
Doug

PS MB is also flying a mission this morning (we are working together) so if anyone else is willing to pick up the first leg, it would be appreciated I am sure. Just glad we can help this poor dog. Thank you

I will email you also.

I can be at HNZ (Henderson, NC) around 8:15 am tomorrow morning. That would put me at XSA (Tappahannock, VA) around 9:30-9:45.
Christopher, does this work for you? I have a prior commitment tomorrow and need to be back to my home field (FCI) around 11 am.

Thanks,
MaryBeth

Unfortunately, we were unable to support this flight ( a colleague fell and fractured his pelvis and wrists) thus we needed to help his wife relocated from a 4th floor apartment to a ground floor unit (no elevator) this weekend. Can you update me on the dog's status? Cases like this really incense me that this could even happen to any animal.
