When will he be flying? How far are the receiving people willing to travel?

Hi Moni,

I could probably assist on 12/28, happy to take him back to Rock Hill or even better for me, Lancaster my home base.

It seems you already have the Memphis to Nashville leg secured, correct?

Eric, I see you are in CZL. Do you want to take the Nashville-Calhoun leg and I would take the GA-SC leg?
What do you fly? Are you IFR?

I'm based at Nashville, and if the existing offer for Nashville to KCZL doesn't work I can probably help out. I'm VFR-only and have to rent, but plane availability shouldn't be a problem if I can get a few days' notice.

Thanks Moni,

I actually know Chris, we were scheduled to do a PNP flight this past weekend but the weather didn't cooperate.

Hi Mark,
Waiting to hear from Eric at this time, thank you for your offer to fly the TN-GA leg as backup.

I fly VFR only. The leg looks doable but I rent and weekends are prime time for the guy I rent from. He gives me a good deal for P-N-P flights so weekends are out. I can do Friday or Monday if the weather is good. It looks like you may have another pilot in the mix see if he can do the weekend. Keep me in the loop.

I probably should jump on here so I can stay in the loop :).

Urkel is originating around Branson, and unfortunately I'm stuck in our 172 that day. Heading all the way to Nashville and back to base in Memphis would likely put me above 7 hours of flight time (so far my longest has been around 5), and that's before taking into account any winds. I'm working with Moni to see if we can get him a bit farther east to hand off, but I wanted to see if someone would be able to fly out to meet me in Jackson, TN or thereabouts? That would cut my total time down to a more comfortable figure.

Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some good VFR weather that weekend.

Chris

Weather permitting, I could do Jackson to Chattanooga. That'd put my round trip at around 400 nm.

Do you have a rough idea when you'd be getting to Jackson? If so I'll ensure I've got a plane booked.
