Sue,

If you or Andrew could get the dog to Garberville o16, either today thru Saturday , I can take him to Roseburg on Saturday. and I believe Douglas could fly him to Lebanon. Saturday is the best weather day for Oregon then it goes downhill.
I'm a veterinarian and can foster him for awhile if needed.

Sue - I'd be able to get to Rio Vista early sat morning if you'd be available to drop the pup at the field, that would put me up to O16 by mid-morning and leave Roy plenty of time for the flight north.

OK--I've spoken with almost everyone. Here is the tentative plan:

Richard can stay with Bruce Hedlund overnight, or, if weather is a problem, for a few days.

Andrew can pick Richard up at Calveras County Airport and fly to Garberville, CA on Saturday.

Roy Smith can pick Richard up there and fly immediately to Roseberg Oregon, or foster until weather conditions permit.

Doug can pick up Richard in Roseberg or another nearby airport and bring to Lebanon, Or if weather permits.

If there are weather issues or something falls through, I will be a backup as a driver. I will send everyone an email with contact information.

I have not had a chance to speak with Roy on the phone yet, so this is still tentative. But I wanted to put it out there and have everyone in direct contact as soon as possible.

I'm a bit confused so pardon the likely dumb question. I'm an IFR pilot in the Portland area and might be able to carry Richard from Medford to Lebanon today or tomorrow (Friday, Saturday). Where is he now?

Hi Chad--Richard should be en route to Garberville, CA as we speak. He'll be there for a day and then off towards Medford/Roseberg area depending upon weather. I think we have everything covered, but if you wouldn't mind being a backup if we have weather issues, that would be fantastic.

Best,

If Roy can get him to Roseburg by 2:00 pm, I should be able to get him to Lebanon and get back home before dark
