Additional Info/situation:
A Mobile, AL, policeman sent out an Internet appeal to rehome his beloved Yellow Lab named Tyler. Due to the demands of his job, he felt he was not devoting adequate time and attention to Tyler, who deserves a family who will dote on him. Fortunately, Pat Bayers of LRRF saw this plea and decided to accept Tyler into their group.
Owner can transport Tyler to any Mobile-area airport, at pilot's preference. Weekends are preferred, but the officer will make arrangements in order to meet pilot's schedule. Tyler will need a LARGE crate or can be tethered in the backseat of the airplane.
He is a very laid-back guy, so security should not be an issue.
Hopefully, this trip can be divided into 2 legs so that it can be easily accomplished in one day. Weather, of course, will dictate.
Receiving group would like to use Brooksville/Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV) as the pickup point.
Tyler will get his health certificate on Tuesday so would like to shoot for weekend of Jan. 18-19 if possible.
THANKS TO DAVID MERCHBERGER OF MELBOURNE, FL, FOR HANDLING THIS TRIP TODAY (01/18)!!
