Hi,

Hyde, a 5 YO male cocker spaniel, is in a bad situation and he desperately needs help getting to rescue. He is currently living with his owner in Covington, KY. It seems Hyde doesn't like children (his owner has 3) so he's being kept outside during the day away from human contact. The owner's boyfriend has been threatening to take him to the shelter and worse! So, it's important he get moved ASAP. He will be going to a rescue in Frederick, MD but he needs help getting there.

Good morning, Lisa.

CVG isn't a bad flight to/from FDK -- probably between five and five and a half hours in the air round trip -- but I can't do anything that long right away. (I volunteered for a four-leg transport this past Saturday that should have had me home for dinner, but got cut off by that unexpected line of thunderstorms and wound up having to spend the night in Philadelphia, so it would be politically difficult for me to accept another relatively long flight any time soon.)

If someone could get him to, say, Clarksburg, West Virginia, I might be able to zip out there and back, especially if the weather allowed us to do it in the early evening. Unfortunately, that's an unreliable time to try to fly in the summer.
