We need to move an 18 month old german wirehaird pointer male pup weighing 57 pounds from his temp foster near charlotte, nc (waxhaw, nc,to be exact) to morgantown, pa however he can be picked up anywhere around washington DC area/Frederick. PLEASE HELP!!! His name is Jackson, since he's from JAckson Mississippi - neutered, up to date on all shots and traveling with a health certificate

A word in Jackson's behalf: He's a charming fellow, calm, quiet, and a really nice passenger. He settled down in the backseat of our Mooney, content with the seatbelt threaded through the chest strap of his harness, and began his trip with dignified and quiet interest in his surroundings, then snoozed for much of the rest of his 2.7 hour trip. Didn't even blink an eye at the occasional moderate turbulence through clouds. The funny part was watching the startled- and appalled- expression on the right-seat passenger's face when Jackson licked the back of his neck after landing. I told him that dogs don't DO applause, and this was Jackson's equivalent in appreciation for a good ride and a smooth landing.

As of August 18, this one still needs to be done, and preferably combined with another GWP named Roxy. I'd like to handle it but am not sure of being able to fly this weekend, so I hope somebody else might be able to help!
