Dave, Elliott -
Looks like Friday is shaping as a better day.
Are either of you available for the southern leg on Friday?

OK, I will plan on coming down to KMTN from KPOU, then up north to KDXR. Will also need to coordinate with Ground transport in CT.
What timeframe are you planning to be back up in KMTN?

We could plan on 1 pm back at MTN; I can adjust that somewhat if you need me to. I'll meet you at the terminal building. If you're not familiar, there is a self serve fuel pump about 500 feet west of the terminal, price was $5.44 on Saturday. Getting fuel from the trucks can take 30-60 minutes, so I recommend the SS. Plan accordingly.
Dawn, can you be at the airport by 10:30? That should allow me to get back to Baltimore by 1.

Absolutely!!! Sorry for the delay in my response. We can definitely be there by 10:30. Will that be Wilson/Rocky Mount Airport?
What time will this get you in to CT and can Danbury be the end location? Between the two choices, that was their preference.
THANK YOU BOTH!!!!

Hi to both Dave's
Two updates on transport...
1st - We have an 11.6 lb., 11 week old puppy that is paralyzed in the back two legs that has just been accepted into Fridays Rescue's Foundations medical program and was hoping that you both would be able to fit this guy in on this trip. He has been in a home his whole life (never in the shelter so not exposed to any shelter illnesses) and was going to be euthanized by the family that had him until they were told we could get him help. He is UTD on all vaccinations and we were hoping that you both may be willing and able to fit him on this flight. He is small enough for a small to medium sized cat carrier.
2nd - Mom has started trying to wean the pups and we were wondering if you were both going to be separating the mom and pups during the flight so she wouldn't be trapped the whole time with them. This is the first momma and pup flight I've helped arrange... that may be standard for you guys at that age... but I had to ask.
Thanks again!

I'll respond to the second part first....If mom is weaning the pups and you think it would be best to keep her by herself then that's what we should do. Both of us Daves have three crates (one of mine is larger than the others), so we could put mom by herself in one, and split the pups in the other two crates. That part shouldn't be a problem.
For the new passenger, I would certainly like to carry him, but I don't have room in the plane for any more crates. What about the possibility of doubling him up with mom? Would she tolerate him? It would be pretty cramped in that crate even if they did get along together. Also, I don't know if Northern Dave has a larger crate, or if all of his are the smaller size.
What do you think?

Just thought of another plan...if mom isn't too big, she could go in one of my smaller crates, the paralyzed pup in the other smaller one, and the nine pups all together in the big crate. It still depends on what Northern Dave can accommodate.
