Any help would be greatly appreciated. Comet came from a neglect situation and was taken to the Hancock County Animal Shelter in Lewisport, KY. He has been lucky enough to find his forever home in Greenville, SC. The Hancock County Animal Shelter has fully background checked and approved the adopter.

Comet is a 2 yr old Beagle. He is neutered and UTD on all vaccines. He will have a valid health certificate prior to transport. He weighs approx. 30 lbs and is a very sweet, friendly boy.

If you would like to break the trip into two legs, that is no problem. Let me know, and I will break it into 2 legs, and begin looking for a leg 2 pilot.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Thank you!

Rob,
That would be amazing! I spoke with Tom earlier and we were thinking we could break this trip into two legs.

LEG 1: Lewisport, KY to Jamestown, TN (150 NM)

LEG 2: Jamestown, TN to Greenville, SC (179 NM)

Tom is looking into his schedule and is planning on contacting me as soon as he has his schedule figured out. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Thank you!

I still have to check on the family schedule, but I am pretty sure Sunday may be difficult. We are projecting ice and freezing rain at the moment. I will get back to you later this evening. Tom Jr.

Lets shoot for Saturday.

Weather permitting I could depart about 1000 EST.

Depart LOU 1000EST Arrive KY8 1000CST
Depart KY8 1045CST Arrive JAU 1345EST

How does this work?

We can switch to [email protected]

Is a dog crate needed? Does Comet have one? Anything else? Who will be at at KY8?

Robb and Tom,
You two are angels! As soon as I have an email address for Robb, I will set up a group email, where the sending party, receiving party, and both pilots can work out the details.

Thank you both!

My email is [email protected]
Cell: 864-630-9412

Saturday works for me, just need to confirm meeting point …. I had mentioned JAU, then someone said 2A1 and in the last notice it was back to JAU? Either one works for me.

I will be bring my own crate, I have a RV-6 so only the correct size crate will fit.

I think it’s supposed to be cloudy with shower in Greenville in the morning … can we plan for a later time, say meet at 2:30 or 3:00?

Robb
