Additional info/situation:

Learned on Wednesday that the 3-month-old was there and on the euthanasia list for this week. Heard rumor of an older pup. Called shelter and tagged the younger one for rescue but was told the older one was gone. Reached out to Alex Siegman of Pilots N Paws, who began making tentative plans. Heard from a volunteer late in the evening that the older pup was still there.

Called shelter again on Thursday morning and was told that there was no older pup. Finalized flight arrangements with Alex and with receiving foster home near Georgetown. Called shelter again and spoke with a different person, who found the older pup and arranged for someone to meet the flight.

17:30 on Thursday Alex touched down at GTU with both pups and met their new foster mom.

Amazingly fast work by Alex, of Pilots N Paws. This was important because the shelter was euthanizing dogs for space as we were scrambling to arrange the flight, and every dog we got out of there not only got to live, but potentially left space that allowed another dog to live.

Thank you, Alex! Another successful rescue! (We'll not talk about what one puppy did in your crate.)

Was happy to do this transport for Jerry. We arranged by email on short (less than a day) notice, and got it done Thursday evening.
