Are you a 501c3: yes, Ridgeback Rescue of Nor Cal
Date ready for transport: NOW but will take whatever is offered
Additional info/situation: Duncan, past his due date at the shelter, was pulled at the last second and boy what a great save. He has the best temperament I have ever seen in a dog (next to my own). He's been in foster for about 2 months so he's not still shell shocked from the shelter. We're trying to get him up to his new family in Nor. Cal and we need a little help in getting him up there. If anyone wants to split the trip I will coordinate. Meet up in Paso Robles? we're open. Were open to dates, times, airports... everything. I'm personally fostering him in Studio City and he's eventually headed to Corte Madera but everyone's willing to drive to meet a plane. He's a big boy so I'm pretty sure a crate won't fit so you either have to have a co-pilot or be comfortable enough tethering him in the back. If anyone can help us out tomorrow (Friday) or over the weekend, there's a 3 y.o. and 6 y.o. who I know will be very grateful. Not to mention an old rescue lady. :)

I saw that Jason was thinking about doing a trip on Sunday to Paso Robles from Long beach for another trip. Perhaps an addon? I would take him with me Saturday, but already have 1 untethered big dog (can't have 2 on the same flight)

If it helps, I could do the northern leg tomorrow (Saturday) morning/mid-day.

I'm trying to see if any SoCal pilots can meet up with Martyn with this guy this weekend. Don't want to leave anyone behind! How about it SoCal pilots? So cal to paso with this pup? If no one is available, I'm checking to see if my other passenger can fit in a crate, if so, he can addon to my flight to Livermore tomorrow if it will help.

Ok so Martyn you can do No. leg Sat - so I just need to find someone to do the southern leg.

Jason can do Sunday to Paso and Derek offered to take him the no. route but it would mean he'd stay the night with Derek in Paso and while I think that should be fine, I really hate to take advantage of his generosity.

My first choice is to get Duncan up in one day. Let me see if I can find a pilot for the southern route for Sat.

Thanks guys!!
