So JEKAPP, just to confirm you'll get him to Phoenix and I'll get him to NM? On that assumption, I'd want to have my wheels up out of Phoenix as early as possible as it's now summertime. Knowing there's a lot of moving parts, can we estimate arrival here? Would you be ok with transfer at GEU instead DVT?

On the destination end, I would prefer AEG instead of SAF as it will save an hour off of the round trip. If the receiver can do anything a little closer like GNT (Grant-Milan) or E98 (Mid Calley), that's much appreciated as well.

At this point, I'm good for June 7, but I'll need to get my reservation in for the plane pretty quick.

Last piece of logistics is that we haven't received our crate yet from PnP. Hope for it this week. But as I'm renting, I can't fly without one.

In order to get him to AZ for an early morning (prior to getting hot) would be roughly a 7-730 pick up to head to Blythe.

Just heard back from PNP and there's currently a 50/50 chance that I'll have the crate I need. PEKAPP, do you have one that you're using for your leg? If so, what are the dimensions and can I borrow it? I live in the Peoria area and can get it back to you on Sunday.

thank you all! I emailed the coordinator at the rescue, he's out of town the next couple of days with spotty cell service but he said to call him. I let him know the target date was Sat. the 7th, his cell is 760-612-9156, his name is Bruce Krider.

Sorry for the sense of uncertainty, but hopefully to avoid potential confusion later: I can't fly without a crate. And the closer we get to Saturday, the more at-risk a late plane reservation will be. At this point, if I can get confirmation from JEKAPP on a crate, then I'll lock in the plane for Saturday. But if I lock one in now on the 50% chance that I might get a crate from PNP and then have to cancel last minute, I'll be stuck w/ a 3-hour rental fee for a plane that I won't use. Likewise, if I wait until I get a crate from PNP and then try to reserve a plane, there's a good chance they'll all be all taken.

The most certain path is that I'm able to beg, borrow, plead or steal a crate early this week. Short of that, we should look at other dates.
