This is a secondary posting so that pilots can look at the trip maps and see that this is coming thru their area. Originating in Louisiana, it might not show that it is near them.
We have it FILLED from Springhill to Covington, TN, by Chris Hilty. Jim Carney of Covington will fly them approx. 275-300 miles north, northwest or where third-leg pilot can meet him. Right now, he is proposing Moberly, MO, thinking that some St. Louis pilots would respond. However, we have had no response from anyone up there.
He can also fly into Illinois if we have a volunteer from there.
Trip is on for Sunday (6/22) as it is probably too late to get it filled for tomorrow. Please, if anyone can do a leg on Sunday, we can make this work. This is our third weekend attempt. Rescue can probably drive from Black River Falls or Eau Claire to meet a pilot if necessary. Just need some notice.

If you can get the dog to Northern IL I can get it to Eau Claire.

Oh, Bruce, I'm excited now. Which day do you prefer to fly and is Pekin, IL, okay with you to meet Jim Carney?
Also, you said you could fly the "dog" to Eau Claire--you did mean the whole family, didn't you?
Thanks so much for your response. We'll await your reply.

As soon as I hear back from Bruce, I'll contact Chris Hilty to tell him which day we're shooting for.

I recognize your username so you are one of the ones I emailed today. Thanks for responding. Is Pekin, IL (C15) satisfactory with you in case Bruce does not want to do it and didn't realize there was more than one dog needing a ride? Also, which day--Sat or Sun are we talking about? Jim and Chris are okay with either day. Also, can you take them all the way to Eau Claire or Black River Falls? I don't have a clue how far that is, so forgive me if I'm being too presumptive.

Jason,
Would Rantoul be to far out of your way? I was based there in the USAF and started my flying career there. It would be like my home coming!!

Rantoul would be just fine and I'd love to see the military stuff there as well, even if just for a min. I can take all the way or up to West Bend where Bruce is and handoff. Only thing about Rantoul is it looks like fbo is closed on weekend for fuel.
