My plane is available to help out. I can also drive north to around Butte. If I fly, all animals must be in grates that will pass through a 20 by 22 inch door. I can accommodate three or four crates.

Thank you, Dr. Mike. Maybe in the future. I remember the "airplane physicals". Hope all goes well and it will be cheap, although are they ever cheap.

Okay Donn and Jerry. Jerry says he will do if to MSO. I can get dogs anytime but Tuesday. I have three others being driven to WA I have to drop off in Twin. If you guys want to work out a good time and day, we are yours. Don't know what we would do without you two.

Myusybody: We are ALWAYS in need of pilots especially from IF to Dillon, Missoula, CDA, Spokane and Seattle where most of our rescues are. Please keep an eye out on the list here.

We have four dogs getting out of the Blackfoot Shelter along with several going to WA on Wed to other shelters. We transport dogs mostly from Blackfoot, Burley, Minidoka, Twin Falls and a few other small pounds. I know more dogs in Blackfoot need out, but they are mostly pits which I love. Bringing a pitbull, black animal, cat or senior animal to a pound is a death sentence. It would be a lot worse if it weren't for people like you.

My schedule for next week is getting very filled up. I have family arriving Monday, one of whom I need to fly back to Grangeville ID on Wednesday. I would like to possibly combine the dog transport with that flight, i.e. fly Lincoln MT to Grangeville ID to Idaho Falls ID to Missoula MT and then home to Lincoln. So my question to Donn is what is the latest that we could do the transfer at KMSO for you to do the second leg into KCOE and get back home to Ronan? My other question is will the dog fit in this crate which is the largest I can get in for this combined flight?
ML 27L X 21.25W X 20H (18” tall inside)

I could also do this combined trip and just bring the dog back here to Lincoln on Wednesday and foster him in my kennels until Donn could come to Lincoln to pick him up and transport to KCOE.

If I can't combine the trips on Wednesday, then I would have to do the dog transport on either Thursday or Friday morning. Saturday is out for me as I am hosting my annual fly-in BBQ at my hangar at S69 from noon to 3:00 PM. Donn (or anyone else reading this), you are invited if you would like to come. You can read about it on the Montana Pilots Association website calendar.

After that, I could do it on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday of the next week. For any of these cases I could use this larger crate:
L 36L X 26W X 26H (24” tall inside)

If I have to make two separate trips, so be it. Let me know.

Donn, do you think you can do it Wednesday? I, the rescue and the Jerry are all available. Jerry, I am having someone measure the dog tomorrow to see if she will fit in the crate. If we need to, we will just grease her up with WD40

I no longer need to go to Grangeville ID on Wednesday, so now my earliest possible dates are Monday morning (7/7) or Wednesday mid-day (7/9). Either day I can deliver to KMSO for the transfer to Donn. After that, the rest of what I said above still applies. Also, I can use the larger crate on these days if needed.

Jerry, the dog will need a larger crate. She is about the size of a small Lab. Just now waiting to hear from Donn.

Okay. I'll put in the larger crate. Just let me know if we can go Monday or Wednesday.

Let's shoot for Wednesday. I have to shuffle dogs the next two days all over God's creation but Wednesday I don't, I am free and can do it then. Looks like we are just waiting to see if it is okay with Donn and the weather, of course.
