Tues or Thurs I could do a northern leg. Might use something like Mesa Del Rey, KKIC, at King city as a meeting place (rather than in the valley where the temps will be in the 100's most of the week).

There are several posts here for dogs headed in the same direction. Might be able to handle two.

I'll be doing San Diego to Sacramento by car early Wednesday. I'll have plenty of room if there is a way to coordinate pick up and drop off.

I think that there was one leg of the flight posted here but if another pilot doesn't step up would there be a fee?

Not at all. Do you have a crate (or some way to help prevent accidents)? I can drop it off on the return trip. I'll be doing the drive anyway, so it won't cost me an extra to help out.
