Beary, a rottie mauled by a bear in North Carolina, is in need of a flight to get to Baltimore, Maryland, to come to rescue with Pits And Rotts For Life Rescue, Inc (501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. If any pilot is able to bring Beary to MD, it would be greatly appreciated. I know this is not the most liked airport, but it's the closes anyone can get to. Thanks for your help

I suggest you take Beary to Clearview Airport in Westminster, MD (2W2). It is a well run easy in and out GA airport. It will keep a pilot out of the controlled airspace issues of DC/Balt and the airport and the receiving group are approx. 22 miles apart.

I fly out of Asheville NC - so Andrews Murphy is close. I also am the very happy owner of Bucky, a 7 month old Rottie who was the runt of his litter. What a great friend! So, I could help move this Rottie from WNC and meet another pilot somewhere in VA. The direct distance is 415 miles + distance to go around the DC ADIZ. Splitting the trip into two would be good.

HIGHLY recommend using Carrol County vs. Clearview, unless you are very familiar. Why not go into a proximate airport with a MUCH longer and wider runway and mulitple IFR approaches........makes sense to me.
