Rescued!! URGENT Little Rock, AR to Houston, TX

Akira is in the process of being rescued by Wandering Mals, an Alaskan Malamute rescue organization. Thank you to everyone who contacted me with offers of assistance. Y'all are a breed apart.
Renee
Akira, a 4yr old, Female Alaskan Malamute/Husky mix, needs transport from Saline County Regional Airport or the Little Rock area, to Houston/Katy, TX (West Houston Airport, Sugarland Municipal or Hobby Airport).
Akira was rescued and taken to shelter where she tested Heart Worm positive. The person who turned her in is willing to cover 100% of the treatment costs, but the shelter MUST place Akira or else they will have to put her down. If they do put her down, the sponsor will have wasted over $500-1000 on the procedure.
The shelter said they will give us 1-2 weeks to arrange her transport to the Houston area. They will start treatment on her immediately and she will be ready to move very shortly. My husband and I have offered to adopt Akira. Is anyone available to help? Please let me know as she has already been in shelter 2 weeks and is reaching the end of her leash. The shelter officer said she is the sweetest dog and they hate to put her down, but they're running out of time.
Thank you,
Renee Lofland
