That's a lot of dogs for the size of the normal aircraft used on these flights.

I could help get (some) of them from OKC to the Dallas area, and transfer to another pilot to fly to Houston.

I could probably get all the puppies and one of the adults.

My availability is good, and my schedule is flexible.

Thank you Russ. This is my first time to resquest transport help so learning. All pups could be transported in one medium sized crate with mom in another. If it would not be possible to get four medium crates on board, at least getting the mom and young pups here soon would be wonderful. Hopefully someone can help Dallas to Sugar Land and/or Houston.

Debby,
To hopefully get more responses to this request, I recommend you do the following:

Click on "Map This Request" near the top of this thread.
Note the airplane symbols that show up near the route and the User IDs they are for.
Send a PM to these people with the same wording as your first post in this thread. Also refer them to this thread.

That should help get more participation. Many people (myself included) have the board set to send an e-mail to me when I get a PM. With so many transport requests on the message board, it becomes tough to look through them and find one that we can help with. But keeping the discussion on the board is important so everyone can coordinate.

Hope this help!

Russ

I can do the trip down to Sugar Land on Saturday if Russ can have the family here Friday night or by 11:30 Saturday morning (KFWS- Spinks Airport just south of Fort Worth). Alternately I could do the entire trip, picking them up on Friday evening, delivering them Saturday. My wife and I have a planned trip to the Katy area of Houston on Saturday anyway and I can drop them off in Sugar Land easily.

Please let me know. I have also volunteered to be part of a transport from San Antonio to Iowa- also this weekend. I can do both but this trip would have to be timed as above.

I am unable to do the transport Saturday (tomorrow) the 12th, but next weekend is good (or sometime during the week is fine too, my schedule is flexible).

Thank you so much for your willingness to help with this transport. I have emailed those who responded with details of the rescue. There are some complications wth working out the details of the dogs release but we should have all the owner relinquish papers signed soon. I wil be in contact with you in hopes we can finalize the transport arrangements as soon as we have everything from the owner. Thank you!!!

I am available to transport from Dallas (KADS) to Sugarland most any day. However, I do require VFR (good weather).
