Hi Ryan and Scott,
I will need to find a pilot from Girard to Augusta for Saturday/Sunday pending weather. I will update the subject to read Girard to August.
So we have:
Need: Girard, GA to Augusta, GA
Ryan: Augusta, GA to Winchester, VA
Scott: Winchester, VA to Coatesville, PA

Hi Sharon,
If you can find a pilot to fly from Girard to Augusta, that would be great. But it looks to be only a 40 mile drive, so it's probably just as quick or even quicker to drive it. Plus the original posting said that they could meet at an airport north of KAGS, but I didnt want to fly into that airport due to availability of fuel and instrument approaches. So KAGS is closer than what was originally proposed as a possible airport to meet, so I figured it would be a good fit.
Scott - If the weather's not great or the plane, timing, etc don't work out exactly right, what's the backup plan? I am not in a position to bring 8 puppies to my house and then try to do something with them on Monday.
Sharon - If something comes up, is there a backup plan where I can bring the puppies in the Manassas, VA area on Sunday afternoon/evening?

Hi All,
Okay. Let me e-mail Sam (rescue in GA) and see if she can drive the puppies to the airport if all takes place on Saturday. As far as a foster in VA (pending weather), I will have to see if I can find someone.

Hi Sharon,
I'm not sure right now which day it'll be. This is a round trip for me (DC -> NOLA -> DC), and I may not be able to get out of VA when I was hoping (i.e. Thursday) due to forecast icing conditions. Based on the current forecasts for the weekend, I may not get out of here until Friday night, in which case I won't be able to pick up the pups until Sunday. Sorry, but the weather is wreaking havoc on my travel plans!!
If it becomes necessary to keep them at a rescue in VA for a few days, I could fly them the rest of the way to Philly the following weekend (assuming the weather cooperates).
Anyway, we'll stay in touch as things start to take shape toward the end of the week.
