Camp Cocker Rescue is trying to find transport for a gentle white pit bull named Stanley, who has demodex mange (not contagious). He weighs 59 pounds and has a rescue group waiting for his arrival on Gabriola Island, B.C.

Was not able to put a Canadian zip code in this topic request so put the zip code for Seattle.

If we can manage to even get him up to Seattle, we may be able to find volunteers to come down from Canada to meet him and take him over via ferry.

Check out the inspiring story of how we got Stanley out of the shelter alive: http://blip.tv/file/3014054

We don't know if getting him so far north via small planes is feasible, but worth at least trying?

If you can help please contact [email protected]

Thank you so much to all of the Pilots who work so hard to help animal rescue!

We are going to fly this dog on a non stop flight from Los Angeles to Vancouver and local volunteers will be meeting him there to ferry him over.

I think it might have been too many miles to try to coordinate with multiple pilots and multiple lay overs to get so far away.

Thank you PilotsNPaws!

So grateful for all that you are doing!

The doggies of Camp Cocker Rescue appreciate you.
