Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV

Howdy,
We're brand new to this, so forgive any newbie missteps, please. We need to move a 3 year old blue Doberman Pinscher from Phoenix to Vegas. He was slated for euthanasia at a shelter on Monday, but they have agreed to allow us to rescue him. His former owner moved away, leaving him with his elderly mother who simply could not handle him. He has had some minor health challenges, now controlled (mainly thyroid-related) which had made him a little grumpy, but is described as a good guy now that he is feeling well. I am told he rides in a car very well, but of course, like most dogs he apparently has no GA experience. The Phoenix person helping us says she will bring him to the airport (lives near Sky Harbor) with some notice so she can juggle work schedule. On this end, we can meet the aircraft at any Vegas area airport - LAS, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, etc.
The dog will be neutered on Monday or Tuesday of this coming week and able to move immediately thereafter.
Thanks very much.
