CANCELLED SC 29210 to PA 18301 on 2-27 or 2-28

This dog just completed HW treatment and needs transport from Columbia SC to East Stroudsburg PA near Allentown, to his new adoptive home. Could any pilots work together on this route? I might could move the dog to Raleigh or upper NC to cut off air miles, if necessary. He is approx 60-65lb Rhodesian Ridgeback/Blue Tick hound mix, very sweet. I must move him on 2-27 or 2-28, the foster mom is in the Air Force and will be leaving for out of state training the following week and he will not be ready to travel before then.

Well, looks like this request is cancelled. A guardian angel put us in touch with another rescue that is making that transport via ground and has offered to take our dog too. This opens up your schedules for other rescues!

I can take the first leg. I would suggest 3 legs although, two may work in a pinch. This weekend is an option for me. Is there anyone in NC or Southern Va that can take the next leg?

Ok, at this time, i am open that weekend.

Right now I am available for that weekend. I am based at Maryland Airport (2W5) south of Washington, DC. If someone could transport the dog to 2W5 I can take him the rest of the way. Since 2W5 is located in the DCA SFRA some pilots may not be comfortable flying in or have completed the 60 nm training certification. I could meet them at Tappahannock, VA airport (XSA). As usual the weather needs to cooperate.

Leg 1 - KCAE to KRDU (or close) FILLED by aamsler
Leg 2 - KRDU to 2W5 NEEDED
Leg 3 - 2W5 to PA 18301 FILLED BY Archerpilot

You may want to consider posting a seperate post for the middle leg to see if any responds from Raliegh to Maryland / Va.

I am out of Leesburg VA (JYO) and can tentatively do the middle leg from anywhere around RDU (recommend a smaller airport for fuel and traffic considerations) to anywhere outside of the FRZ. Annapolis, Stafford, Easton..........whichever. I will know about my other potential committments this week. I can promise that I will be available one of the days that weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,which one I dont know.

To mrbrightman- I am taking the 3rd leg. Would you have any problem bringing the dog to Maryland Airport (2W5) which is outside the FRZ just south of DCA?

Also to all involved- I am available for that weekend now. I cannot commit until Feb. 23 at the earliest. If that causes too much uncertainty to the rescue please replace me. Perhaps I could be a possible replacement at the last minute for leg 2 or 3.
