Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay is trying to get 2 Dalmatian-mixed puppies (once on the euthanasia list) to meet up with a volunteer in the Jacksonville area this weekend (March 12-14). Both puppies are litter mates, 4 mos old, will be vetted & spayed by this Thursday 3/11. Our volunteer is traveling up to Jax on Friday 3/12 & can meet a pilot at Lake City in the afternoon. We can also get a volunteer to meet a pilot Saturday or Sunday morning before returning to the Tampa area Sunday afternoon. Please let me know if you can help!
At 4 months old, both pups will be about 20# each. They may be subdued by their recent spay. We can provide more info as needed.
Several PNP pilots have received dogs from the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd, Americus, Georgia 31719 & have used a local airport (Souther Field Airport in Americus, Ga. has been renamed Jimmy Carter Regional Airport). We can pick-up from The Lake City Municipal Airport or any of the airports surrounding Jacksonville.
