Atlanta, GA to Ashboro, NC is 262 nm according to Runway Finder.

I have been emailing and trying my best all week to find someone out of Atlanta who is free to help on Saturday 4/17. (4/18 may be an options if that is better for the Atl pilot.)

Missy is a 60 lbs, American Bull Dog who loves belly rubs and is a total sweetheart. She came out of a kill shelter last week and desperately needs to get to her new rescue in Virginia.

We have another pilot (and even a backup plan on the ground) out of North Carolina to get her to Virginia but getting her out of Atlanta is the hard part.

If you can assist in getting Missy to her new home, please email me at [email protected] or back on Pilots N Paws. Let me know what time you can do this and what airport you would be flying out of. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

PS) there is also a possibility that the Pilot out of Virginia may want to hand off a dog to you that is coming back to Atlanta but that has not been solidified. If that happens, it is a Shar Pei.

Sincerely,

Morgan Chadwick

Speaking as the VA pilot, Sunday would probably be better for me, too : )

THANK you for your offer. I am about to email the Shar Pei lady.

Missy is headed out on a ground transport tomorrow to VA since would couldn't find a southern pilot! LOL

I can't thank you enough for all you do. I hope to be able to help get that Shar Pei here though.
