DONE!!! lab needs a ride to her rescue home!!

Post by nrhalnp » Sat May 08, 2010 7:26 pm

Thanks to Larry, Elliott and Bob - Mick and Geraci made it safely to New Hampshire!
Izzy will be going on another flight - luckily these two great pups were ready to go in her place! Thanks, guys, for what you do.

Can someone out there help Izzy get to her rescue in NH? Izzy is a spayed black female lab, about 55 lbs, crate trained, fully vetted and needs to go in the next week or so. We've done 2-leg and 3-leg flights with this route before (Smithfield to NoVA or MD and then on to NH, or Smithfield to MD to Poughkeepsie and then to NH). Izzy may have a travelling companion - we're waiting on his heartworm test results. If so, he is a smaller male, about 45-50 lbs, and will be fully vetted. Please contact me directly if you can help.

If someone can get Izzy to Roanoke, I can fly her to Frederick, Md.
If someone can get her to Frederick, Md, I can fly her to Poughkeepsie.
I can take the second dog, too, if they get along well uncrated. If one needs to be in a crate, I can handle a medium sized crate plus one uncrated dog.
My schedule is pretty flexible for the next couple of weeks. The weather this week looks terrible, though, which would probably prevent a flight before the weekend.

Thanks, Elliott - we're not looking for an ASAP flight - next week would be fine. I'll try and get someone to pick up the first and 3rd legs. Thank you so much for getting back to me.

I could do the Smithfield, NC. to Frederick, Md. run if this helps.
