Re: FIV+ Cat, & Mom+Kittens Clover SC to Catskill, NY 6/26
Good job, and welcome to PNP. This transport looks to be about 540nm (nautical miles -- equal to about 620 statute miles). It will likely need to be divided into 2 or 3 legs, since most pilots here are comfortable flying legs in the 150nm to 200nm range. For example:
Leg #1: KUZA (Rock Hill/York Co/Bryant Field) ---> KLYH (Lynchburg Regional Airport) - 167nm
Leg #2: KLYH (Lynchburg Regional Airport) ---> KTHV (York Airport) - 190nm
Leg #3: KTHV (York Airport) ---> 20N (Kingston-Ulster Airport) - 181nm
To get a multi-leg transport accomplished, you'll need to be persistent and keep everyone in the communications loop. It's not an easy task, but it can be done!
I might be able to help with the final leg up to Kingston, NY.

That would be awesome! Thank you if you can commit to the last leg. Do I need to add any additional information, or just wait to see if other pilots are interested?
Thanks So Much!

I might be able to do the entire route in conjunction with another run from HKY to BLM. How large are the crates? Is this 501C3? How many kittens? Do you think they'll travel well? Any pictures so that I can convince my wife? What time frame will they be ready for transport?

There will be two crates..
One Standard Cat Carrier for Russian Blue FIV+
One Slightly larger carrier for Mom+ Kittens. I will edit later with exactly how many will be in the crate!
Thank you so much!!

Rescue is not 501c3 as they have not been operating for over a year, Transport is scheduled for 6/26 time is based on pilot availability = )

I just want to make sure this is charitable, and that neither end is "selling" as that would invalidate the 501C3 portion of it. Is either the receiver or sender 501C3? Would both crates fit in the back seat of a car or are they too large for that?
Right now the plan would be to do the flight on 6/25 (Friday). Is that too early, or could it be done?
