Transport Summary - Temp foster to approved rescue
Negra (Newfoundland mix) and her 4 puppies have a rescue offer in Colorado, but need to get there from Houston as soon as possible. The puppies will be just over 4-weeks of age at the time of transport and will require special protective handling throughout the entire transport. The family will be traveling in a large sized carrier (approx 42"L x 28"W x 31"H) so they can stay together with the least amount of stress as possible and the puppies will need to be kept as isolated as possible to prevent unwanted infection – remember, they have very little immunity and are too young to receive vaccinations. Specific handling instructions will be provided to transporters.
