Cartman is a Pit Bull located at the BJC Animal Control. We need transport to get him here to Houston Texas. He is currnet on all vaccines, neutered and set to go.

We can get him from Jackson MS to Houston on Saturday, August 14th. The other pilot we are working with will do the other part of the trip.

I'm the other pilot that Diane mentioned. We're coordinating another flight to take a Golden Retriever from Houston to Atlanta. Diane and David are bringing Bozeman the retriever to Jackson, MS where I'll pick him up and take him on to Atlanta. On my way to Jackson, MS from Huntsville, AL I can swing down to Birmingham and pick up Cartman and deliver him to the Newton's, who can then take him to Houston, TX on their way back. Our plans are do do Bozeman's flight on Aug. 14th in the morning. Does the August 14th work for you for transporting Cartman?

Jeff, If you can let me know the place and time where you will land, I can have someone bring him out there. He has quite the following and everyone is excited that he will be leaving.

I can not thank you all enough for what you do. I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to help this boy and get him to safety and into a place where we can find him a home.

I'll be landing at the Bessemer Airport just south of Birmingham and it will be early in the morning. The Newton's and/or I will be contacting you via email or phone to work out the details, including more information about Cartman, name and cell number of person who will be delivering Cartman to Bessemer, name and cell number of person picking up Cartman in the Houston, etc. Thanks.

Is there room for another dog on board??

It depends on the dog, where the dog is going, what its circumstances are, who you are...

Please give us more information on the additional dog and also what part of Houston he is going to. We would love to help as many dogs as we can on this flight! We fly out of Conroe (CXO), north of Houston, but can stop at another Houston area airport if necessary. We'd like to coordinate, though, if possible, with the other dog's dropoff point.

Kathleen - Please send us Houston contact info as soon as you can for this transport. I am working on putting an itinerary so everyone has the same info, if that works for you.
