SCMR is in desperate need of transport for a Maltese in Jeffersonville, IN 47129 to Chattanooga, TN 37409, approx 300 miles. If possible, the dog needs to be transported the weekend of August 21 & 22 or sooner. The owner has lost her house and is moving into an apartment where dogs are not allowed the weekend of Aug. 21 & 22.

I will be flying empty August 28, from Louisville, KY to home in eastern TN and could bend the course over to Chattanooga if the transport is still required.

Kirk, that would be great. We will work on making arrangements to house the 2 dogs until then and also arrange to have them delivered to the airport. Which field are you flying out of?

I'll be flying out of Louisville, Bowman Field (KLOU) departing around 10AM to noon.
Can you supply the crate? Did you say 2 dogs? Thought the orignal post was one. Might not be a problem depending upon size, I'm flying a Maule M5 with the back seats out. Cargo compartment is 4 foot long by about 30 to 26 inches wide (tapers to the back.
I'll email you also...

Kirk,
Originally there was just one dog but since then another dog facing euthanasia has been offered to our rescue group. They should weigh no more than ten pounds each and would be in the same cage. If you have a cage that would be wonderful, if not we will insure the dogs are delivered to you in a crate.
