Giving end willing to drive a distance and so is receiving end.

Please help me save Mater's life - I promise to find him a loving home

If someone can get him as far as Frederick MD, (KFDK), I can take him to Wings Field, Bluebell PA (KLOM), close to Norristown, PA

If you can get him to Zanesville, OH (KZZV), then I can take him to Frederick, MD (KFDK) for the hand-off to the next pilot. Zanesville is about 50 miles east of Columbus and right on the route.
Keep working on it. We'll get him to his new home!!

Sue,

Sent you an email - but yes - please let me know when you are available and I will try to coordinate the volunteers to get him to Zanesville.

Thank you so much for helping Mater - he deserves a better life and I promise to get it for him.

Sue,

I am trying to get him a lift to Zanesville on Monday. Currently I have an 11 car ride scheduled and he will get to you around 4.

Still trying to see if I can do better.

You will have to get him to me no later than 1 p.m.. The morning would be better (10 a.m.ish), as it will give him a better ride. I can't do 4 p.m., as it could easily put me over the mountains at night (if they run late, or I get a headwind) in a single engine airplane. Not good! 1 p.m. gives me a good pad for any delays. I know this makes it more complicated, and I am sorry about that. We can try for another day if you'd like. Is there someone who could keep him Sunday night in Zanesville or close by to pass him to me Monday morning?
Also, you've probably done this before, but make sure you have a plan if the weather is bad on Monday, and I can't get there. Let me know when you need the decision. Usually, I can tell the day before. However if the weather looks like it might be marginal, I will make the go/no go decision as close to departure as possible. But, I need you to tell me when you need to know for his ride to Zanesville. That's the only bad thing about flying....you are so dependent on the cooperation of the weather.
Will he have his own crate or harness? I think I have a crate that will fit him, but how much does he weight?
We'll figure this out!
