FILLED! Shafter or Bakersfield to Agua Dulce 10/22/10

Hello you awesome pilots!

We have two small brittany mixes that need to hitch a short ride on Friday. I know this is last minute, but pilot Jason is flying our britts from Concord to Shafter and another awesome volunteer can pick up at 4:00 or later in Agua Dulce, Van Nuys, Whiteman -- any So Cal airport. We can't get the boys from Shafter to Agua Dulce or any of the other aiports between Shafter and Los Angeles county and need some help. Driving or flying, it doesn't matter. We tried to board the boys, but the kennels are full in Bakersfield.

If transport does not work but you can overnight them for us, that works, too. Both are timid boys -- one is 23 lbs. and one is 30 lbs.

Patty,

The President of the United States will be in Los Angeles on Friday (tomorrow), and the airspace is restricted for a 35 mile radius around santa monica airport from 10 am to 5pm local time. The restriction includes agua dulce, whiteman, van nuys, etc. I could do the flight, but I wouldn't be able to take off from Whiteman to go to Bakersfield until after 5pm due to the flight restriction. That puts me into bakersfield at 6pm, and back to whiteman with the dogs around 7:30 pm. Does that work?

Haven't heard a reply from you regarding this rescue flight... so looks like I should make other plans for tonight?
